Storyline

The film tells the story of biodiesel, an alternative fuel for diesel engines. Made from vegetable oil, it is non-toxic, has low carbon dioxide emissions and can ultimately replace all liquid fuels used in the United States, thus freeing America's dependence on oil needed for gasoline. 16 June 2008 | by maggiepettit22See all my reviews

reasons to love Fields of Fuel:

1. It sold out opening night at the Seattle International Film Festival

2. It got a standing ovation at the Seattle International Film Festival

3. It won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at SUNDANCE

4. Willie Nelson and Neil Young and Jack Johnson make appearances in the film

5. Algae to biological diesel is the next BIG THING (and no, it does not compromise food security or climate change).

6. www.fields-of-fuel.com

7. Josh Tickell (filmmaker) and Rebecca Harrell (marketing director) are just such a cute and courageous couple!

Love much, Maggie Avid Seattle volunteer for Fields of Fuel
