Storyline

On the darkest night of the year, when Satan is allowed free reign to walk the earth, a motley crew of Satanists kidnap a sharp tongued southern waitress to be a given up as the Dark One's bride and mortal host of the antichrist. But when her rowdy redneck friends botch up the ritual in a violent rescue attempt, all power of hell is inadvertently transferred into the most unlikely of hosts: a sacrificed chicken! Now, the Satanists and Rednecks battle one another as an evil most fowl threatens to swallow their souls and transform them into a demonic army of the walking dead! Who will survive the terror of Zombeak!? Written by Annomynous

Zombeak: All peck and no bite
1 July 2017 | by PlatypuschowSee all my reviews

Let me be clear, though advertised as horror this is certainly not and resembles a campy comedy more than anything.

Incompetent satanists summon the dark lord but when the redneck locals intervene his spirit accidentally goes into a chicken.

And like that we have satanists vs rednecks vs a soul sucking blood thirsty chicken.

There are a couple of laughs to be had and considering the budget it doesn't look entirely terrible but the sheer volume of cringe inducing moments and a terrible finale make this a less than easy to watch effort.
