Plot Summary |
On this first of August, a heat wave is rife in the Var department in the South of France. The Draguignan professional firemen are on alert status as the outbreaks of fire are continual. Their superior, Colonel Larmont, has hundreds of firefigthers under his command, among whom Lieutenant Anna Ortega, a brave instinctive young woman, who feels that all the conditions are met for a giant fire to break out...
