Trivia

In Season 2, Episode 3, "Sticks and Stones", Earl says, "He even taught me how to ride a skateboard without falling off and scraping my knees" (and Earl is seen struggling to ride a skateboard in the next clip). However, Jason Lee (I), who plays Earl, is a professional skateboarder who mainly skated in the late '80s and early '90s, and is co-owner of Stereo Skateboards. See more »

Goofs

In the scenes where pregnant "Joy" is in the shower, the body double is wearing flesh colored panties, just barely visible at the bottom of the screen. This goof is likely not visible on CRT televisions that over-scan. See more »

Quotes

Joy: Is his sister getting married? Is she? Cause if she didn't ask me to be a bridesmaid I swear to God, I will march down to that Club Chubby and wrap her neck around that pole!

One of this seasons Best new shows
21 September 2005 | by jhanrattySee all my reviews

I am a Jason Lee fan and when I saw the advertisements for his show, I was a little skeptical. I thought it was going to be all hype and not funny. But,I watched the premiere last night and I couldn't stop laughing. You have to understand the humor to get the jokes, but it is so worth it. I think this is going to be a huge hit for NBC and Lee. The cast was awesome and a great combination. It is nice to see Jason Lee and Ethan Suplee on the screen together again. If you get the chance watch this show. You won't be sorry. It is also followed by another great show The Office. I think they work well together. Tuesday nights are better than they used to be.I hope that NBC keeps this show around for several seasons.
