Most exciting baseball playoffs and World Series Ever!!!!
From the 1986 Playoffs against the Astros to the World Series against the Boston Red Sox, baseball doesn't get more exciting than this. Some of the most exciting baseball games ever played were played in October 1986.

From the 16 inning thriller against the Houston Astros which was a must win game for the Mets, to the Bill Buckner play, this year in baseball will live on in legend and infamy....

The Mets team contained the likes of a Dwight Gooden and Darryl Strawberry in their prime. The Mike Scott controversy added to the aura of the series between these two teams. If the NY Mets didn't beat the Houston Astros in Game 6 of the 1986 playoffs, they would have had to play a Game 7 against Mike Scott who was clearly cheating throughout the whole season, let alone the playoffs with his scuffed baseball tactics. These games are a must see if you never got a chance to see them.

Many people forget that when the ball went through Bill Buckner's legs, the game was already tied.
