Taking place between the original "Lilo and Stitch" and "Stitch: The Movie", "Lilo and Stitch 2" finds the rowdy extraterrestrial getting used to life with his new ohana. However, a malfunction in the ultimate creation of Dr. Jumba soon emerges, which reinstates his destructive programming and threatens to both ruin his friendship with Lilo and to short him out for good! This is by far the best sequel I've seen as a DVD/video release from Disney. From all of the other sequels Disney made weren't as "enchanting", not a lot of work was put into (e.g., story plot, voice acting, score, music, etc.) although this movie is worth the purchase and the viewing! It even has a sort of twist in the movie (no spoiling!)
To put it simply, here's how I'd put the movie:
The Good: -animation stayed and true and original (as in "Lilo And Stitch" unlike "Stitch: The Movie" -the score qualifies well for a theatrical release -story and plot is deep and rich -had its "theatrical touch"
The Bad: -having the movie with the length approximately 1 hour
It's just too bad this movie wasn't released first as a Theatrical release. Probably for the reason of the short length of the movie although it is still definitely one that you should purchase, worth buying. This beats all the other Disney Sequels DVD releases. More work is put into this movie for a family fun film.
*People who've seen "Lilo And Stitch" and "Stitch: The Movie" would definitely find this movie better and funny!!
