When Nikki walks in to the kitchen for breakfast before school the plate is empty. When the scene changes the plate is wrapped in foil. When it switches back the plate is empty again. When Nikki leaves it is wrapped in foil again.
When Vanessa wakes up alone in Frankie's house, after the initial confrontation, they are talking in the kitchen. Frankie's hand changes from around the side of Vanessa's neck to under her chin and then back again around the side of her neck.
When Madea tells Nikki to answer the little girl's "Good morning". Nikki is starting to use a spoon to dip up a spoonful of food from the large green bowl in front of her, but then in the next shot of just Nikki, her hands are sitting on the table in front of her and the bowl is further away and to the right side of her.
At the wedding when the little kids are walking down the lane, there was originally in the beginning of the movie two boys and one girl. Now at the end there are two girls and only one boy.
When Madea whips Nikki with a belt, she can get arrested for child abuse and assault. Madea was also on house arrest.
When Vanessa gets on Frankie's bus, the route sign changes from 9G to 9L by the time she gets off. Bus routes sometimes change their designated letter after passing a certain checkpoint.
The pot of boiling grits had to be scalding hot to the touch, but the girl picked it up with no ill-effects.
The bus which Vanessa rides home in Atlanta is clearly a Pittsburgh bus.
This movie is a sequel to the previous film Diary of a Mad Black Woman(2005) but most of the characters like Helen isn't mentioned or seen in this film the only character that is seen from the previous film is Helen's mother Myrtle, and some of the events from the previous film should've taken place in this movie.
Frankie and his son meet Vanessa in the park on Saturday. But Nikki, the foster child, has been in school on the same day.
