Good but also a big waste.

This stand-up routine by Mitch Hedberg can be found on the DVD "The Best of Comedy Central Presents: Uncensored". Oddly, however, despite the title and a warning at the beginning of the disc, the show is pretty much PG--with very little offensive material.

I love Mitch Hedberg's comedy. Of all the comedians I have heard, his routine reminds me the most of Steven Wright's work--though instead of being quite as bizarre as Wright, he comes off as a big 'crispy'--like a druggie who is making weird observations. Sadly, this IS what seems to be the case, as Hedberg died of an overdose six years after doing this half hour show. And, because he died so young, he didn't record that many of his stand-up routines. So, apart from this and a few others, this is one of the few chances you have to see him. And, he is quite good here. Sure, a few jokes fall flat, but overall well worth seeing and weird....very, very weird.
