Criminal Minds' A.J. Cook Talks Directorial Debut's 'Startling' Opening, If Bau Will Survive Final Season
Criminal Minds‘ 312th episode marked a first for original cast member A.J. Cook, who stepped behind the camera as director. And it sounds like the episode she helped bring to life is a doozy.

“It was such a great privilege and honor to finally get to do this,” Cook tells TVLine. “Directing for me has been a lifelong goal, but I’m a big believer in ‘things happen when they’re supposed to happen.’ I could not be happier.”

With her debut, Cook is one of no less than five series regulars to double as director during the CBS drama’s next-to-last season,

Burning Criminal Minds Question: Might Hotch Appear in the Final Season?

With the announcement that CBSCriminal Minds has been renewed for a 15th and final season, one question that came to many viewers’ minds was: Might Thomas Gibson‘s Aaron Hotchner be even a tiny part of the crime drama’s swan song?

The question of Shemar Moore, also a former/original cast member, returning during Season 15 isn’t nearly as complicated. Since leaving the series in early 2017, and while now fronting CBS’ own S.W.A.T., Moore has thus far reprised his role as Derek Morgan twice. Another encore during the show’s final, 10-episode run can easily be presumed (though is not confirmed).

2 | For what was dubbed “an Expendables episode,” was last week’s Hawaii Five-0 a bit light on firepower/pyrotechnics? As if they (ahem) expended it all in the fall finale face-off, in which Joe died?

Criminal Minds Renewed for Season 15 - Its Last!!

  • TVfanatic
This is the news everyone has been debating, expecting, and dreading over the past few seasons.

It's good news and bad news for fans of the Behavioral Analysis Unit.

Criminal Minds Season 15 has been announced, and with the renewal came the news that the 10-episode season to air during the 2019-20 broadcast season will be its last.

It's been a long and exciting ride since Criminal Minds first aired on CBS in 2005.

In 14 seasons the show has focused not only on the often gruesome cases and deranged unsubs the team hunts but on the team itself.

It's the team the viewers will miss the most.

It's the changes on the team that put the show on the bubble for a good portion of the last few seasons, but it's also the amazing members of the Bau and the actors that currently fulfill the roles who have made the show a fan-favorite again.
