    ........????? confusing and dumb

OMG!!! ummm....... first of all, it is hard to find the exact word for this movie! Repulsive, and the worst waste of 2 hours. Th plot includes talking peanuts, which speaks for itself. The series was OK, but the movie was a big disappointment. I do not recommend this movie for people with a brain. The characters still have their spunky sense of humor and Oscar Proud delivers a great performance, but unfortunately that was not enough to save this movie!

Now, there have been some weird proud family episodes(such as the new one where penny saves an evil duck), but this movie and plot is just downright confusing and overdeveloped. The best part of the movie was the beginning where we see Penny learning how to drive. It gives the audience a sense of the proud family series, which was actually watchable. I was glad, however, to see Penny's group of friends(Dijonay,LAcieniga and Sticky) back.

    Bad Disney Animation Film

I am not sure if I understand at all what the crew were thinking or trying to do when they were creating this Disney animation film. This Disney animation film did not make any real sense at all and and did not have any real direction at all. I could not watch this Disney animation film. The storyline of this Disney animation film was really bad and poor and weak. The cast selection could have been a whole lot better and stronger. They did not at all commit nor connect to the storyline nor to their respective characters. There was not any sign of real chemistry at all displayed throughout this entire Disney animation film between the cast members.

    Disappointed in Disney

    Disappointed in Disney

The Disney name used to represent an assurance to many parents that the content of a show would be family oriented and of sound moral ethics. The Proud Family Movie presents cloning as a trivial detail in weak plot with no indication of the moral or ethical questions involved. The plot is weak. The music is formula synthesized junk. My children watched it because the "couldn't find anything else on" I don't censor their viewing heavily, and allowed them to watch this poorly constructed program. It's too sad that Disney is too now just a money machine like so many other companies. Movie Rating; D minus.

    Very good...

Oscar and the family get a trip to a tropical island, but it is all a trap of a crazy scientist who wants a secret formula that Oscar has invented to put in the peanuts. The scientist's plan is to master the world and it will cause a lot of confusion in this fun radical family adventure!

Sometimes I myself surprise myself with my dubious tastes, such as, for example, enjoyed this super simple mega design to the detriment of much better and elaborate works, definitely I don't understand... Maybe because love peanuts, or my taste By clones, the unnecessary but cute songs, and the protagonist a lot of my goddaughter, who has only 9 years old, had become a teenager Penny Proud... George Washington Carver really existed ...

    • Trivia
During the run of the series, the character Wizard Kelly never had his face completely revealed. In this film, you can briefly see the whole of his face towards the end when the mess of peanut butter lands in the stadium and some of it falls on him and Uncle Bobby.
    • Goofs
Oscar says that George Washington Carver invented peanut butter. He did not invent peanut butter, despite his other 100 inventions with peanuts.

Cashew: [Penny found Cashew in her closet, wearing her clothes] How do.

Penny Proud: Cashew, what are doing here?

Cashew: Oh, just checking out your wardrobe. You know, you could use little more variety.

      [Penny looks at Cashew sternly]

Cashew: Okay, I stowed away on the boat and followed you here, because I wanted to see what it was like to have a real family. Only problem is, you don't have a real family either.

Penny Proud: whacha talking about, Cashew?

Cashew: You real family still back on the island being held captive. Those people down stairs are peanut clones, sent here by the evil Dr. Marcus Carver Carver, the second. To find your father's secret formula, so he can take over the world. Hey, is this cashmere.

Penny Proud: Cashew, focus. Are telling me, my family is a forgery.

      [Cashew nods]

Penny Proud: HA HA HA HA HA, that's a funny. That's real funny, come on, lets go down stairs, so I can let everyone know your here.

Penny Proud: [walks down stairs, to talking to clone family, while holding Cashew] You guys wouldn't believe who hitched a ride on the boat. CASHEW, and he's got this ridiculous idea, that all of you guys are clones. HA HA HA HA.

      [clones look at Penny suspiciously]

Penny Proud: That is ridiculous, right?

Bebe Clone: Yeah, that is ridiculous.

      Penny Proud: Who said that?

Bebe Clone: I DID. Now give me that necklace, or I'm gonna slap your head with this ten pound dirty diaper.

      Cashew: See, I told ya.

    • Alternate versions
The Extended Version includes a "Three Days Later" epilogue in which Penny gets her driver's license, while Suga Mama and Puff grow to epic size after they drink one of Oscar's snack experiments. The original DVD release gave the option to view the movie in its original version or with the added extended ending, which could also be viewed separately. The DVD included with the Complete Series DVD set only presents the extended version of the movie, although the extra ending is still included separately.
