1920s Paris, France. A gaunt, stone-faced bailiff from the Debt Collection Ministry is shocked to discover a secret door leading to a hidden treasure after visiting the seemingly empty apartment of a memory collector. And having hit the jackpot, the officious bureaucrat starts meandering through the labyrinthine corridors of the ill-lit attic, tagging everything in sight. However, someone or, better yet, something, is watching his every move from the thick shadows. Can he shed light on the mystery of the Phantom Inventory?
