a great short film
10 March 2005 | by ct82See all my reviews

Chtonia is a captivating short film that I thoroughly enjoyed. The director does a great job of telling the story of Chtonia and how America has changed in the future. The psychological horror present in the film is another reason why I enjoyed it, along with the characters in the film who contribute to its story. The blend of mystery, suspense, horror, and character introspection work very well for this film. There are moments that leave the audience guessing, but I believe that these are intended by the director. They add to the mysterious and mystic air to the movie, which makes it all the more exciting. A great film overall.
