The further adventures in time and space of the alien adventurer known as the Doctor, a Time Lord/Lady who can change appearance and gender by regenerating when near death, and his/her human companions.
The Doctor, a Time Lord/Lady from the race whose home planet is Gallifrey, travels through time and space in his/her ship the TARDIS (an acronym for Time and Relative Dimension In Space) with numerous companions. From time to time he/she regenerates into a new form (which is how the series has been running since the departure of the original actor, William Hartnell, in 1966).
On the 2012 episodes, the title logo is decorated with a motif related to each episode's theme. On episode one, "Asylum of the Daleks", it was decorated with dots like the ones covering a Dalek body. On episode 2, "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" it was decorated in green-like vegetation. On episode 3, "A Town Called Mercy" it was made of wooden boards, like the buildings of the Far West town on the episode. And on episode 4, "The Power of Three", it was decorated with a pattern made of cubes. See more »
I live in Germany and Doctor Who is not as Popluar as in the Uk. This may by the Reason why I've discover this SCIFI Marvel so late. Late means in this case at the age of 32. I'm a huge SCIFI fan and STAR TREK and STAR WARS practically raised me. But back to DOCTOR WHO. It was This Time when you have nothing left to watch, and netflix just started in Germany. So I've think lets give it a try. It Takes just a few Seconds of the First Episode Rose(Doctor Who 2005) and I became a Whovian. It is the best TV Show I've seen ever!!! Amazing Script, Actor, Heart and this incredible British Style. I hope this Show runs for ever.
10 out of 10 SCIFI at his Best
