      The Whites
Phil Dunham is going to fiancée Helen Marlowe's masquerade party as a burglar. Is there anyone reading this review who doesn't know what is going to happen? Well, with these one-reel comedies, it's not a matter of originality but of how well the pratfalls are taken. Although director Jules White would soon come to specialize in ultra-cheap wirework and split screen work, Dunham performs his falls well enough and the dummies look very convincing falling from upper story windows, to be replaced via cut with the performers.

Things like that render this a fairly standard comedy of its era and time, meant to eke out a program, give producer Sam White chance to see if the lead comic was worth upgrading to two-reelers and give brother Jules a job. Jules would return the favor after the collapse of Educational's comedy programs by hiring Sam, initially under the nom de plume of "Preston Black".
