Trivia

One of the major challenges in the film was how to bring V to life from under an expressionless mask. Thus, considerable effort was made to bring together lighting, acting, and Hugo Weaving's voice to create the proper mood for the situation. Since the mask muffled Weaving's voice, his entire dialogue was re-recorded in post-production. See more »

Goofs

The newspaper articles throughout the film include several headlines. Under these headlines, the articles are repeating text with virtually no correspondence with the headlines. This is possibly a tribute/reference to the original comic book, as that medium frequently uses repeating text to "represent" newspaper articles. See more »

I have only one thing to say, AMAZING!!
11 March 2006 | by nad-19See all my reviews

I saw this movie yes today here in Denmark, and i didn't know what to expect, because i haven't heard of the V or read the Comics from publisher DC comics. But was i in for a BIG treat, this movie is so superbly acted by all the actors, especially Natalie Portman performed according to me to an Oscar nomination next year. The movie is perfectly put together, so if you haven't read the comics you will be on the edge of you seat the whole movie. Its really that good folks. And lastly, the visual effects is fantastic, and the action scenes is nothing but spectacular. Watch this movie :-).
