Hugh Jackman's Real Steel Super Cut Delivers Nothing But Punches

Hugh Jackman's Real Steel Super Cut Delivers Nothing But Punches
You can now watch Real Steel with only the punching scenes, thanks to an awesome fan-made super cut. While the action movie looked a lot like a corny rock em' sock em' robots adaptation, it actually received pretty decent reviews and earned Hugh Jackman a People's Choice Award for Favorite Action Movie Star. Additionally, Jackman's co-star Dakota Goyo won the Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film - Leading Young Actor. But now, you can watch the movie boiled down to the bare essentials.

A new super edit of Real Steel has found its way online, and it's actually pretty awesome. Showing only the punching surprisingly doesn't get old during the five-minute fan-edit and it puts the focus on the special effects, which were nominated for an Academy Award. However, the movie is pretty silly, and this edit of only the fighting scenes demonstrates just how silly it really is.

Evangeline Lilly retired from acting until The Hobbit encouraged her back

Evangeline Lilly has revealed that she quit acting soon after Lost until a role in The Hobbit franchise encouraged her to return.

Ant-Man and the Wasp star Evangeline Lilly burst onto the scene with her starring performance on the hit TV show Lost (2004), but, soon after, the actress stepped away from acting.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, the actress discussed her interesting history with Hollywood: “I don’t know if you’re familiar with my journey with acting, but it’s been a unique one, it’s not your typical story.

“Basically, by accident, my first speaking role in film or television was Lost, and so I was instantly launched into international stardom, and that was really uncomfortable for me,” Lilly said. “I instantly balked, didn’t know how to deal with it and felt very uncomfortable after that situation. I ended up deciding to retire after I finished Lost.

New ‘Skyscraper’ Trailer Further Reveals Story & Action

Universal Pictures has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming Dwayne Johnson action film, ‘Skyscraper‘. Directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, the film stars Johnson as a former FBI man who now assesses the security of high tech skyscrapers. Of course, things go wrong, and the rock has to flex his muscles to fix the situation. All joking aside, ‘Skyscraper’ is in essence a combination of the plot of ‘The Towering Inferno‘ mixed with the tone and characters of ‘Die Hard‘.

It’s a fun premise, but I’m not sure if these trailers so far completely nail the tone for me. The film seems to be a little too self-aware for my taste, not only in it’s similarities between the aforementioned films, but also the overall cheeky nature of the phone. With that said, I would like to highlight that the all-too underutilized Neve Campbell looks to have

No guts no glory Oscar predictions: Go ahead & laugh at me for picking ‘Wonder Woman,’ ‘Star Wars,’ ‘Valerian,’ and …
I tend to be a fairly conservative Oscar pundit. I don’t go out on many limbs or rely on gut instinct. I try to do the math as objectively as possible based on the most reliable awards season precursors, which is why my predictions accuracy is 100% every year — trust me, no need to fact-check that. But occasionally I will still follow a hunch or two — or five. The following are my top seven biggest hunches that, according to our racetrack odds, I’m completely wrong about.

Woody Harrelson (“Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri”), Best Supporting Actor — The controversial film has been surging, most recently winning top honors at the SAG Awards. Harrelson didn’t make many appearances on the awards scene for this performance early on, but he got in where it counts: at SAG and the BAFTAs. Those awards are bestowed by the same kinds of industry professionals who voted on the Oscars,
