Fun and entertaining for pretty much everyone! It even kept Grandma entertained!
Well, this is my first movie review for IMDb.com. I chose this movie because it's the most recent movie I saw, and it's fresh in my head. It's a very fun and entertaining movie people of all ages will enjoy, since my 11 year old sister liked it, and so did my 73 year old grandma! My grandma doesn't usually like animated movies, but not even she could resist this movie. The animation is good, but not quite as good as Pixar's "A Bug's Life." While it's fast paced and entertaining, there are a few problems with the script. For example, whenever I heard them say something like "Find your inner ant!" I wanted to cringe, and the scene where Nicolas Cage 'cursed the rock's children,' I thought it was really dumb, and there were other small little problems, but I quickly forgave the movie because it was fun and adventurous, and often exciting and thrilling. No doubt kids will love this movie most, but I think parents will find themselves enjoying it as well! This was better than Over the Hedge, but not as good as Cars. Cars might remain the best animated movie of they year, but I still have to see Monster House. All in all, this is a fun movie with only minor script problems. I think it's unfair to compare "Antz" and "A Bug's life" to this, because this movie is pretty different from the two. Really, the only similarities are, it's animated and about ants.
