The JammX Kids are a kids hip hop dance group comprised of nine cool kids who dance, sing, act and take a leadership role in bolstering kids' self-confidence and portraying hip hop in a positive light.
In episode one, Josh refuses to go to his middle-school dance because he doesn't want to make a fool of himself in front of Bianca, the girl he likes. Master Groove, head of the JammX team is quickly on the case and sends the JammX Kids to Josh's rescue. The JammX Kids instruct Josh in the newest dance moves including the Grapevine Groove, the Stomp Out and the Twist Hop, breaking down the steps so you can follow along at home. The big question is: Will Josh finally be able to impress Bianca?Written by
Realistically, this film is not great. It's very predictable and the general making of it is pretty awful.
However, if you don't take it seriously, and see it as a low budget way of getting children to dance, it's incredible. It definitely got me dancing! It's simple and works! The dances are funny and 90% of the scenes are down right hilarious.
As someone who isn't a film critic, I can't really criticise this film at all. Watch it and it won't disappoint. Get your boring and serious friends to, and it just might.
Full credits to the children in it though, super dancers!
