Julian Urena = Awesome
10 May 2010 | by Frankwild1960See all my reviews

Last weekend I went to a sneak preview of a film called "North By El Norte" and wasn't really expecting much. However, some of the performances were really amazing. Danny Trejo and Emilio Rivera were very good but the role of Gonzales was played by Julian Urena and I was blown away. Turns out, he's been around for a while and is now coming into his own. I looked him up on the internet and see he's going to be in "Tlatelolco: Mexico 68" and a film called "Protection". I look forward to seeing him. It's not everyday to see a Latino actor who plays without going for "stereotype". He's got real control. Don't be fooled, he plays one tough thug but I'm keeping an eye on this actor.
