I really dug this film. Then again, I've been told I have a sick sense of humor. Mini's First Time is great dark comedy in the same ballpark as Bad Santa. So if you loved Billy Bob Thornton in that, you'll love Nicky Reed in this. And Alec Baldwin continues to impress me. His role in this ranks up there with the work he's done in films like Glengarry Glen Ross and The Cooler. The rest of the stellar cast smoked their roles as well. Luke Wilson is awesome. Jeff Goldblum is Jeff Goldblum (if you're a fan, you'll know what I mean). Carrie-Ann Moss was great. I highly recommend this one if you're tired of the "typical" summer release. See it while it's still in theaters because Nicky Reed must be enjoyed on the big screen (if you know what I mean). That girl is going places.
