Just after Stokes is shot with the beanbag round, an officer is heard talking on his Rover radio: "6-Alpha-65, need an R unit at our location." An LAPD officer would use "Adam," not "Alpha" as the phonetic for "A" (indicating a two-man patrol unit), and would request an "RA" (rescue ambulance), not an "R unit."

Well That's That!

Harry has gotten rid of Waits and is now on the trail of Stokes. While this is going on, his daughter hops on a bus from Vegas and heads for LA. Harry meets her at the bus stop and they put together a really fascinating day. The Captain really has it in for Harry and harasses him every opportunity he gets. Once again, O'Shea, who wants to be Mayor, meets with the police leaders and stakes out his plan. He is pretty dirty and was ultimately responsible for the escape of Waits, and, directly for the deaths of another police officer, the wounding of one, and the deaths of more civilians. We have a couple pretty good surprise elements at the conclusion which are just a little lame, but in many ways quite satisfying. I look forward to seeing how things play out in the next season.
