Trivia

There have been many film and television adaptations of Baroness Orczy's "The Scarlet Pimpernel", the novel which introduced Sir Percy Blakeney to the public. She also wrote other tales about him which were somewhat less popular or well-remembered, and this mini-series is based on two of them, "The Elusive Pimpernel" and "Eldorado". See more »

Thoughts on Elusive Pimpernel mini series
8 April 2017 | by janecontactSee all my reviews

I agree with Fiona = only saw half of one episode back in May 1969 when I was a student and never saw the other episodes. I was so hoping to catch up on Video and then ~DVD but it appears the whole lot was wiped! Do hope there is someone out there who might have recorded something ! What I saw was great !
