Did You Know?

Director/Writer/Producer/Editor Shavar Ross secured a home video (DVD) and cable/broadcast television rights deal for the project before a script was ever written. Barry Gordon, Vice-President of Acquisitions at Image Entertainment was so impressed with Shavar's 35 minute short film entitled, "A Taste of Us", that a full length feature film was requested. The only thing was, Shavar's short was originally a drama pilot presentation for the new TV ONE Network and was based on the civil unrest of the 1960's. Shavar simply kept the title "A Taste of Us" to appease his distributor and came up with a whole new concept, and storyline, conforming a script into an inspirational romantic comedy. See more »

Thoroughly Enjoyed It and Looking for More!
13 June 2007 | by wysiwysellSee all my reviews

The movie got stronger scene by scene and I am already looking forward to seeing a sequel and prequel since the story line was just that good in my opinion.

You could really feel the love of the entire cast and production crew from the movie.

Buy the movie if you are interested in seeing a great story develop, include a few surprises, and make you feel inspired and encouraged about love, faith, and relationships.

Congratulations to former child actor Shavar Ross on his first feature film. Not every former child star can make a claim to his achievement and professionalism.
