Andrew Marr's interview with Tony Blair averaged nearly 1.8m viewers on Wednesday evening, according to the latest audience data. The exclusive interview, which coincided with the release of the former prime minister's memoir A Journey, was watched by 1.78m (9.5%) on BBC Two in the 7pm hour. On BBC One, Waterloo Road pulled in 4.97m (22.8%) in the 8pm hour, before Crimewatch Solved appealed to 4.03m (17.9%) from 9pm. The programmes proved more popular than Agatha Christie's Marple, which mustered just 2.76m (12.4%) on ITV1 between 8pm and 10pm. The One Show sunk to 3.36m (18.1%) on BBC One from 7pm, down 1.25m week-on-week. Jason Donovan's appearance on Who Do You Think You Are? was watched by more than 4.9m viewers on Monday night, according to the latest audience data. The programme, which featured the former popstar tracing his family history on his mother's side, averaged 4.96m (19.7%) on BBC One in the 9pm hour. Over on ITV1, Agatha Christie's Marple brought in an impressive 4.59m (20.2%) between 9pm and 11pm, with 136k (0.6%) tuning in on ITV1 HD. Earlier on the channel, Countrywise took 4.1m (16.8%) from 7.30pm and 132k (0.5%) in HD. The One Show was watched by 3.79m (20.6%) on BBC One between 6.30pm and 7pm, down 500k week-on-week, before coverage of the Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2010 grabbed 3.92m (18.2%) in the 7pm hour. Lewis topped the multichannel ratings last night with over 900k, according to early overnight data. The detective drama, starring Kevin Whately and Laurence Fox, attracted 917k (4.6%) to ITV3 between 9pm and 11pm. Prior to that, Agatha Christie's Marple was seen by 726k (4%), which helped the channel to a 4.3% primetime share, equalling Five. Elsewhere, Big Brother's eviction night delivered a modest 2.16m (10.3%) and 2.02m (12.1%) to Channel 4 from 9pm and 10.30pm. Last Friday's edition had 2.8m. Graham Linehan's The It Crowd pulled in 1.88m (9.6%) for its fourth series premiere at 10pm. Harper's Island had a disappointing start for BBC Three last night, according to early viewing figures. The first episode of the murder mystery series, which stars Elaine Cassidy, Christopher Gorham and Katie Cassidy, pulled in a lowly 364k (1.6%) between 9pm and 9.40pm. The second episode followed immediately after, averaging 346k (1.7%). Also on the multichannel stations, House pulled in 494k (2.2%) for Sky1 during the 9pm hour, a drop of around 119k from last week's performance. ITV2's X Factor repeat averaged 1m (5.1%) at 7pm, then 747k (3.4%) tuned in for The Xtra Factor rerun during the 8pm hour.
