The Walking Dead’s Negan to join character roster of Tekken 7

Season 8 of AMC’s The Walking Dead may have locked Negan away but that doesn’t mean that gamers can’t enjoy the most charismatic bad guy ever to grace a TV series. In fact, with the season two Dlc pass of Bandai Namco’s Tekken 7 this fan-favorite baddie will make his way into the video game world.

A new trailer has been released showcasing some of the new fighters included in this pass although we don’t see any fighting done by the big man himself, which is a shame.

As well as the brilliant Negan (and hopefully Lucille), Tekken fans will be able to get their hands on Anna Williams, the personal bodyguard of Kazuya Mishima and second in command at G Corporation. From the trailer we can see her intense rivalry with Nina is still strong since the original Tekken game. The laid back cop Lei Wulong

Bandai Namco, publisher of the “Tekken” and “Soulcalibur” series, is partnering with independent developer DigixArt and “Wallace & Gromit” creator Aardman Animation Studios on a new story-driven World War I adventure game called “11-11: Memories Retold,” the companies announced Wednesday.

As of right now, details on “11-11” are relatively scant, but based on the game’s reveal trailer (seen below) it appears to be going for a striking, painterly aesthetic, contrasting the drab colors of battlefields with the beauty of flowers.

“Engaging audiences with compelling stories through animation is at the heart of what we are trying to do at Aardman,” founder Dave Sproxton said in a press release. “With this project we want to produce an emotionally rich experience with distinctive visual character to help you understand what war is all about.”

The Making of Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – An Oral History

Luke Owen interviews the people behind 2001’s Lara Croft: Tomb Raider

These interviews are taken from Lights, Camera, Game Over!: How Video Game Movies Get Made – available now from all good book sellers.

By the end of the 1990s, the idea of turning a video game into a movie wasn’t high on the list of priorities for Hollywood studios. The failures of Super Mario Bros. and Double Dragon vastly outweighed the box office (though not critical) successes of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat. However in 1996 a video game character graced TV screens around the world and quickly became a pop culture icon. Her name was Lara Croft and her game, Tomb Raider, was a smash-hit on PC, PlayStation and Saturn, and her sequel, Tomb Raider II, made her a household name. “While there had always been adventure games before Tomb Raider, we had just gotten into an age

Totaku PlayStation: Sony's new line of figurines

Matthew Byrd Jan 23, 2018

Sony's new igurines feature all your favorite stars like Crash Bandicoot, PaRappa the Rapper, and, er, the ship from Wipeout...

Sony has announced a new line of figures modeled after the stars of some famous PlayStation games.

While these figures will no doubt have you crying "Sony Amiibos!" (assuming that you shout such things at screens) that's not exactly what we're dealing with. Despite their familiar looks, these figurines - which are officially referred to as Totakus - can't actually be used with your PlayStation 4 the same way that Amiibos can be used with the Switch and Wii U. Instead, they're just figurines modeled after familiar faces.

Also, it seems that Sony is not the one manufacturing these figures. Instead, they are being made under ThinkGeek's banner. As ThinkGeek is a GameStop-owned brand, these figures will only be sold through GameStop stores associated retail brands.

Ghost in the Shell Super Bowl Commercial Arrives Early

Ghost in the Shell Super Bowl Commercial Arrives Early
'They did not save her life. They stole it.' That's the tagline that accompanies the exciting new Ghost in the Shell TV trailer that will debut on the small screen this Sunday during the big game. Yes, it's Super Bowl time. And that means exciting new footage from some of the year's biggest and best movies. The excitement starts with Scarlett Johansson appearing on the roof of a very tall building only to take a giant leap of faith.

At first glance, Scarlett's Major Motoko Kusanagi appears to be stripping down to the flesh, which is sure to get a few blurry-eyed couch quarterbacks excited after a few too many Bud Lights. But upon closer inspection, we're looking at the body of a one of a kind human-cyborg hybrid. Not another Janet Jackson slip-up.

Ghost in the Shell follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads

In memoriam: Namco founder Masaya Nakamura

Ryan Lambie Jan 30, 2017

Masaya Nakamura, founder of Namco, the company behind Pac-Man and other classic games, has sadly passed away.

The golden age of arcades wouldn't have been the same without Namco. The Japanese firm was responsible for the classic Pac-Man and a legion other hit games of the 70s and 80s, including Galaxian, Pole Position and Galaga.

We're sad to report that Masaya Nakamura, the founder of Namco, passed away on the 22nd January - news of which was only made public by the company today.

Nakamura founded Namco - under the name Nakamura Manufacturing - in 1955, and specialised in making amusement park rides and simple arcade games. It was in the surge of popularity of arcade machines, led by such games as Pong, Breakout and Space Invaders, that Namco made a global name for itself. Galaxian, released in 1979, was the company's answer to Taito's Space Invaders, and a

‘Pac-Man’ Pioneer Masaya Nakamura, Founder of Namco, Dies at 91

Masaya Nakamura, the arcade entertainment pioneer who pioneered smash-hit video game “Pac-Man,” has died at the age of 91. He founded the giant gaming company Namco, which for 10 years was also owner of the Nikkatsu film company.

Nakamura’s death was recorded as having taken place more than a week ago, on Jan. 22. But it was only announced by Namco Monday on its Japanese-language website.

Having attended technical university in Yokohama, Nakamura reportedly founded Namco in 1955 as a company operating mechanical horses on the roof of a department store. After Namco was merged with another Japanese games firm, Bandai, to form Namco-Bandai (later Bandai Namco) in 2005, Nakamura retained an honorary position. He was also awarded the Order of the Rising Sun by the Japanese government for his services to industry.

Pac-Man, conceived to look like a pizza with a slice taken out of it, was invented by Toru Iwatani and
