Sex & Nudity

  • A woman is briefly shown topless in a bathroom but nothing is exposed.
  • A young man is seen in a prison yard throwing paper airplanes over the fence, two men approach him and it is implied that the young man is raped.

Violence & Gore

  • A young boy is stabbed lightly in the stomach and a small amount of blood is shown. The same boy is then stabbed deep in the thigh. Blood drips down his leg, and the knife is covered in blood after it is pulled out.
  • A young man is cut on the eyeball with a knife, and for a split second, the knife is shown close-up making contact with the eye. The young man starts walking, covering his eye and large amounts of blood are on his hand and face. He walks outside where he is hit by a police car and thrown into the air, and he falls onto the windshield, shattering the glass.
  • Two teenage boys get into a fist fight in public. Several punches are thrown before the two are pulled apart.


  • Several uses of the F-word throughout, a few uses of the S-word, SOB, and other mild obscenities.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Throughout the film, there are frequent references/scenes depicting the abuse and illicit sale/exchange of prescription drugs.
  • A teenage girl and a pre-teen boy are shown smoking cigarettes.
  • An older woman is shown drinking wine, though she is not intoxicated.
  • Several adults at a funeral are shown heavily intoxicated and inebriated after eating a casserole that was filled with various prescription drugs.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A teen is shown hanging by his neck from an electrical cord. It is implied that he committed suicide.
