'Cops' draws 6.2m for Fox
Cops performed strongly for Fox on Saturday night, the latest viewing figures show. A new episode and repeat of the show averaged 6.19m across the 8pm hour. Elsewhere in the hour, Truth in Motion: Road to Vancouver could only draw 1.78m in a poor hour for NBC. Meanwhile, a repeat of movie The Magic of Ordinary Days was the most-watched show of the evening with 7.32m tuning in between 8pm and 10pm. CBS has extra-'Ordinary' Sunday
It might not have taken place on Wisteria Lane, but CBS delivered impressive Nielsen numbers Sunday with a movie about a desperate housewife from a bygone era, the Hallmark Hall of Fame production The Magic of Ordinary Days. Airing against repeats of ABC's Sunday dynamos Extreme Makeover: Home Edition and Desperate Housewives and bolstered by solid reviews, CBS' 1940s-period drama Ordinary Days delivered 18.6 million viewers and a 4.2 rating/10 share in adults 18-49 from 9-11 p.m., according to preliminary estimates from Nielsen Media Research.
