What was Merv Griffin thinking?
30 November 2004 | by lildrchris25See all my reviews

It's nice that Merv Griffin decided to try to put Monopoly out there as a game show. Unfournately, it simply turned out to be a bust. My memory of the show is scant at the very least, but I remember that it was pretty complicated, and I was confused as to what the rules were. I don't fault the host in anyway, considering that he wasn't given a good show to host, and so it was gone in 13 weeks, only airing 13 episodes total. The rules, were just blah, simply too complicated for the average viewer (like me at the time) to understand quickly.

I wish this would be brought back, but maybe with some simpler rules to follow it easier.
