Storyline

This is a road movie. Ivan and Maria meet at the road accidentally. They are going in their separate directions - headed for their own problems, for their own worlds. Gradually, however, their separate ways turn out to have much in common. Being both dependent on their pasts, they now try to help each other so as to get through with their dependencies and start their life clearly, anew, from scratch. 'A Short Film About Love'...
10 October 2004 | by ben3000See all my reviews

An impressive work, with impressive actors and script. The plot grabs you and keeps you sympathetic until the end...and long after it. The film is a magical masked-ball, in which Hristo Shopov and Biliana Petrinska reveal a naturally perfect clothing, sewed with love. I have not yet seen an actor with such an influencing expression (Hristo Shopov), witness of a life full of sorrow, leading to wisdom... The beauty of the actors' play, the enchantment of Teodosi Spasov's music and the dramatically realistic plot have created a drama to longly 'tease' our senses and believes about life. Words are too weak to express this pleasure. I surrender to silence...
