Blake Lively’s The Rhythm Section Halts Production

Production on Blake Lively’s new action film The Rhythm Section has been halted indefinitely after Lively suffered an injury during filming. But her star truly started to rise with her role on the hit CW teen drama Gossip Girl, where she played Serena van der Woodsen from 2007 to 2012. Refusing to get stuck in any genre, Lively ventured into the Ben Affleck-directed crime thriller The Town in 2010, and the following year, starred as Carol Ferris opposite her future husband, Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan in the DC superhero adventure Green Lantern.

At 34, Tamblyn is more than used to juggling a personal life and a professional one. She’s been working for over two decades, beginning with General Hospital and then becoming a household face as Joan on the CBS drama Joan of Arcadia before playing Tibby in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. But it’s this new job that’s completely unique to her.

“To have my first Mother's Day as a mother is just wild,” says Tamblyn, who married actor David Cross in 2012.
