Angelina Jolie Tattoos: Love quote tattoo inked in infamy now history

Here is the latest celeb gossip about the following topic from one of the freelance news writers at Green Celebrity Network. In a new story titled, "Inked In Infamy", writer Ira Kantor of the Boston Herald reminisced, "The original girl with the dragon tattoo inked an homage to her then-husband, actor Billy Bob Thornton, only to remove the dragon once the pair split." Other celebrities known for their body art that were mentioned in the article were Cher (who got wings tattooed on), Jackass Steve-o (who had an enormous self-portrait done on his back), Mark Wahlberg (getting his own initials and name put on his shoulder when he wanted to stop being called Marky Mark), Mike Tyson (for his tribal tattoo on his face), and poor Tom Arnold. The Pot and the Kettle | Eloquent Eloquence

  • Pajiba
Well kids, figgy is back from her three week hiatus and will return to her position as Head Mistress of the Eloquent Eloquence this week. Hopefully you've enjoyed my Ee posts and think I'm pretty swell and nice and funny. (Or at least you don't hate me. I'll take being tolerated.) I have loved reading all of the comments on this site despite being scared shitless that my head would explode and my bowels would escape through my bellybutton after reading All Of The Things instead of some of the things.

The majority of the commenters on this site are gifted with the hilarious and have made this job something closely resembling A Joy. Also, despite liking to pretend otherwise, the majority have hearts beating quietly in their dark little chests that make appearances every once in a while. A couple of commenters, however, are pure shit kickers. These commenters

Steve-o Gets Inked On Path To Sobriety
Jackass prankster Steve-o is chronicling his path to sobriety with a collection of new tattoos.

The heavily-inked TV joker, real name Stephen Glover, was ordered by a U.S. judge to enter rehab for substance abuse in 2008 after an arrest for cocaine possession and an alleged attempt to commit suicide.

He celebrated a year of being clean in March - and he's marking each step with new skin art after stopping by a tattoo parlour in Hollywood last week (ends29May09).

A source tells the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, "He was talking a lot about sobriety and passing another landmark.

"He seemed like he was getting the tattoo on the back of his shoulder to mark a new sober period. He was in really good spirits."

A&E greenlights 'Inked' spinoff

A&E greenlights 'Inked' spinoff
A&E is getting some new ink.

The network has ordered 13 episodes of a reality series starring tattoo artist Thomas Pendelton, star of the network's previous tattoo-related docusoap "Inked."

In "Tattoo Highway," Pendelton and his wife and business partner, Monica (who also appeared on "Inked"), have transformed a 1970s tour bus into a mobile tattoo parlor. They will travel to cities including Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Phoenix and Salt Lake City, inking customers.

Executive producer Bob Horowitz said the traveling element will differentiate the show from previous tattoo docusoaps.

"All the other series have been based in tattoo parlors," he said. "Here the premise is this is the first tattoo parlor on wheels, and he goes where the stories are. Imagine all the things that can happen when you take something like this on the road and all the things that can happen."

In one episode, Pendelton mixes the cremated

Pink Says She Believes In Karma

Pink says she "believes in karma." The "Stupid Girls" singer - who announced she is divorcing husband Carey Hart earlier this year - has revealed her favorite tattoo is one which says, "What comes around goes around," because it reflects her perspective on life.

She said: "It's my only truth that never changes. I believe in karma. I believe that it comes around in both ways."

"I've watched really good people have really hard times and then all of a sudden something beautiful happens. I've seen instant karma and I've seen karma that I think takes lifetimes, and I've felt a lot of it."

Pink - who has a series of tattoos all over her body - also revealed to Inked magazine that the bows on the back of her thighs were a "drunken mistake."

A&E fetches 'Dog,' buries 'Gotti'

A&E has secured renewals for three of its highest-rated unscripted series, including a big deal for its reigning hit, Dog the Bounty Hunter. But the network's other breakout series, Growing Up Gotti, has been whacked, according to sources. It's also the end of the line for Airline, another A&E reality entry. The highest-rated series ever on the network in all key demographics, Dog will be back for a third season, which already is in production. Returning for second seasons are Inked and Criss Angel Mindfreak, the two youngest-skewing series on the network. "We are thrilled to be moving forward in our relationship with these shows," said Bob DeBitetto, executive vp and general manager of A&E. "They've all contributed to a great year at A&E."
