While still out to destroy the evil Umbrella Corporation, Alice joins a group of survivors living in a prison surrounded by the infected who also want to relocate to the mysterious but supposedly unharmed safe haven known only as Arcadia.

This movie continues the saga of war between the vampires and the lycans. This movie goes back to the beginnings of the ancient feud between the two tribes as Selene, the beautiful vampire heroine, and Michael, the lycan hybrid, try to unlock the secrets of their bloodlines. This will be a modern tale of action, intrigue, and forbidden love, which takes them into the battle to end all wars as the immortals must finally face their retribution.Written by

(at around 1h 14 mins) Alexander's strike team flies a (somehow modified) Aérospatiale SA 360 Dauphin. When Selene and the strike team are leaving the helicopter for the showdown, the close-ups show a Bell 204 (or UH-1). See more »
Over all, I'm still very much immersed in the world set up by the writers and director Len Wiseman. The characters are very interesting, but we get around the same run time to develop the characters and so I somewhat lose interest. Michael Corvin still isn't that great of a character but he has more to do in this one and he comes off as okay. The awesome Kate Beckinsale is back and continues play the role quite well. Markus (Tony Curran) has a great look to him and he's a great antagonist although I can't say he has the presence of the great Bill Nighy. His brother is a great looking werewolf but he's a mindless monster so his threat is somewhat limited from my perspective. The decision makes him a lackluster villain who spills plenty of blood but nothing else.
The score by Marco Beltrami is a damn good one, loving his works. The action in Hollywood fashion is intense and enjoyable. The vivid sex scenes are merely eye candy but I'm sure most won't complain. I highly recommend the movie but the first one is still the greatest by far.
