Storyline

Long, long, ago on a far away Indian subcontinent lived a guy named Jaspal Singh. As many of his comrades do yearly, he too came to America on student visa, a Turban on head, suitcase in hand and morals in check. His one goal - to study and make his parents proud. However, what awaited him in the land of opportunity was anything but traditional education. Instead, his on-the-street education leads him into situations that can only be summed up as a mix of "Coming to America" and "Animal House." Written by Jackokingdom Productions

Awful
20 April 2005 | by vardeSee all my reviews

This could quite possibly be the worst Indian-American movie I have ever seen, I don't know where to start...First, the whole movie looks like it was shot with a home video camera. Scene cuts were awkward, as were transitions between different camera angles. Next, the plot was all over the place. There were too many characters they tried developing so, for some of the minor characters, a whole storyline was crammed into about 4 minutes of screen time. Also, the stereotypes that were used could have been funny, but the way they were pushed were way over the top. The dialogue was forced and unnatural. Normally I like a bad movie as much a good one for the unintentional comedy and mock factor...but this movie was so bad i just sucked the life out of me. $2 and 2 hrs of my life I will never get back...
