Storyline

12 year old Shin, loves her bike, which she calls Billy Buckwheat, her imaginary horse. Most of her life, the girl identifies little with the asian part of her until she discovers her grandmother's opera album. This cements the bond between Shin and her grandmother who begin to have clandestine opera practices. In so doing, Shin revives her Nan's dream of being an opera star.
