‘Legion 2×03′ Review

If there is one thing that any forms of entertainment do, it is to try to stay fresh and to bring something new to the audience. This week’s episode shows that Legion is at the top of its game when it comes to being unlike anything else on television at the moment. The best episode so far in the season, this is where the wild ride really starts.

This week The Monk (Nathan Hurd) invades Division 3, and David (Dan Stevens) must travel into the labyrinths of his friend’s minds to pull them out of their own delusions.

The description of the episode that I just made is as far as I’m willing to go in terms of plot detail, because once again it has to be experienced. I will say this though, there are moments that really show what makes Legion stand out, and even manages to

Legion Season 2’s Biggest Mysteries So Far

After only three episodes, Legion season 2 has introduced a whole host of new and perplexing mysteries. The first season of Legion was filled with twists and turns as the show teased whether or not David was mentally ill or a powerful psychic (or both). In the second season, David’s sanity is more stable, but the world around him is devolving into madness. The Catalyst, a psychological disease, is leaving people in an unresponsive catatonic state… except that is, for unnerving chattering teeth. In the year that David was gone, the mutants of Summerland have teamed with their old enemies at Division 3 to try to stop the Catalyst and the Shadow King, Amahl Farouk. Meanwhile, David was kidnapped by a future version of Syd, who instructs him to help Farouk regain his body.

Legion Season 2 Premiere Recap: Let's Do the Mind Warp Again

Women with mustaches. Strawberry-flavored sensory deprivation tanks. Elaborate dance-offs. Yep, Legion is back — and just as audaciously weird as ever.

After an opening scene of Oliver Bird and his demonic companion Lenny lazily sunbathing (she giggles, “We’re trapped”) and some confounding narration from Jon Hamm about imaginary mazes that ends with “Welcome to madness” — thanks, Jon, but we’ve been here before; we watched Season 1 — Tuesday’s premiere kicks off in earnest with a seemingly paralyzed David getting rescued by Ptonomy in an abandoned nightclub. “Help them. They’re in the maze,” he struggles to say as a room

'Legion' Team Previews Season 2 Reinvention, Lobbies for Patrick Stewart Cameo

FX rolled out the blue carpet Monday for the season-two premiere of Legion.

The Marvel drama from Noah Hawley returns for its sophomore season Tuesday with psychic-powered mutant David Haller (Dan Stevens) reuniting with his friends from Summerland, who have now joined with the previously villainous Division Three in order to hunt the Shadow King.

Navid Negahban joins the series as the season’s embodiment of the Shadow King, who lived inside David's mind since he was a boy. The show's newest addition was among those who attended Monday's packed premiere at the Directors Guild of America.

“The writers gave a map to...

Legion Boss Noah Hawley Teases a (Yes, Even) Trippier Season 2

Legion Boss Noah Hawley Teases a (Yes, Even) Trippier Season 2
If you’re still puzzling over the first season of Legion, we have some good (and bad) news for you: FX and Marvel’s mind-bending superhero drama is back for Season 2 this Tuesday (10/9c) — and according to creator Noah Hawley, the season premiere will give you even more to scratch your head about than the pilot did.

“I felt clearer with the pilot, just on what the takeaway would be,” Hawley tells TVLine. “You start with a baby, and he grows up to be this guy. It tracks a lot more linearly. Here, we have a time jump, and then

Legion Season 2 Trailer: David Faces Hard Choices, Hits the Dance Floor

If you were hoping Season 2 of FX’s trippy superhero drama Legion would be easier to comprehend… well, can we interest you in a dance number?

In the just-released trailer above for Season 2 (premiering Tuesday, April 3 at 10/9c), tortured mutant David Haller is back safe and sound after getting zapped by that orb in last season’s finale. But he’s returned to a different world: Ptonomy peppers him with questions (“What do you remember?” “What are you hiding?”), and his Summerland friends have now teamed up with former villains Division 3 to battle the real enemy — the Shadow King, played

David Haller Returns In First Look At Legion Season 2

The mind-bending debut season of Legion ended with a classic Marvel-esque post-credits scene which left us with a giant cliffhanger: Dan StevensDavid Haller was captured by a weird floating ball. What was happening to him and would he get back to his friends at the Summerland mutant retreat?

Well, thanks to this short first look at Legion season 2, we at least know the answer to the second part of that question. The five second trailer, taken from FX’s sizzle reel for their upcoming shows, sees David with the likes of his girlfriend Syd (Rachel Keeler), Ptonomy (Jeremie Harris) and Cary (Bill Irwin). Which means he must get out of his weird prison and reunite with them at some point.

Despite escaping, though, David’s troubles are far from over. He’s still a mutant who can’t control his very dangerous powers and is being hunted down by anti-mutant government agents.

First Promo Spot For Marvel's Legion Season 2

"I wanted to be normal. Does any of this look normal to you?"

One of my favorite Marvel series on network TV is Noah Hawley's FX show Legion. Season 1 was so freakin' good! Now today, we get our first look at the upcoming second season. The promo spot features David Haller (Dan Stevens) back with his allies at Summerland, but we still have no idea where the mutant ran off to.

The brief promo also offers a quick glimpse of the characters Syd (Rachel Keller), Ptonomy (Jeremie Harris), Cary (Bill Irwin), Lenny (Aubrey Plaza) and Oliver (Jemaine Clement).

In case you don't remember, the Season 1 finale came to an end with Oliver running off with Lenny, and David being sucked into a floating orb. I can't wait to see where Season 2 takes us. In an interview with /Film, Hawley talked a bit about the upcoming season and says there's

Before he was getting his head in the game or saving lives on the beach, Zac Efron was putting his keen senses to good use by raiding rooms.

As you can see in the clip above, a 17-year-old Efron was one of the celebrity guests attempting to find love on the reality dating show Room Raiders, an MTV series that saw single suitors go through the rooms of three potential love matches before selecting one to go on a date with based on the contents of their boudoirs.

Lori Loughlin Isn't Offended When You Call Her Aunt Becky
Lori Loughlin has no problems being America's Aunt Becky. The actress, who shot to fame on Full House and has returned to the role more than 20 years after the series ended with Netflix's Fuller House, said she never felt pigeonholed by the series. "You know, to this day I still get people calling me Aunt Becky and I'm not offended by that at all. Full House has afforded me wonderful opportunities in my career," she told E! News. Those other opportunities include Summerland, 90210 and recently When Calls the Heart and Garage Sale Mystery movie series for Hallmark. "I feel lucky. I didn't get boxed in by that, I'm still working, so it's all good." Returning to the Tanner clan in...

What It Feels Like to Crush on Zac Efron For a Decade

What It Feels Like to Crush on Zac Efron For a Decade
Zac Efron is known for his role as Troy Bolton in High School Musical back in 2006, but the first blip on our crush-worthy radar happened when he was just a gap-toothed 17-year-old on The WB's Summerland in 2004. Since then, crushing on Zac has evolved from watching a cute kid sing and dance to swooning over a constantly shirtless 26-year-old as he winks, smiles, and charms his way into everyone's hearts. It's been a long and winding road over the past decade (with some interesting haircuts) but there's no denying that our crush on Zac will stand the test of time. Scroll through to see the many stages in our crush evolution - including plenty of near-naked moments - and make sure to vote for him in our March Man-ness sexy movie star poll!
