Chandrakatha is the story of a young girl who fate brings her to the house of a ruthless man. She starts of as a normal village girl until she is made to runaway with her cousin leading to shame in her family. The only way out is marrying the ruthless politician and when she does she suffers her life. The cast is excellent especially assaduzzam noor who gives a star performance as a old and evil man. Shaon is flawless as the poor village girl and credit must be given to the director, humayun ahmed, for his hard work in portraying the film excellently and storytelling. The music is good as well as the cinematography. Chandrakatha is a must see!
