‘Black Lightning,’ ‘Sharp Objects,’ ‘East Los High’ Bosses on ‘Accountability’ and ‘Integrity’ at a Time of #MeToo
In an era of #MeToo revelations, the pressing question is what comes next to fundamentally shift the toxic behavior that often festers in the industry.

“I think we’re in the beginning of accountability. It’s scratching the surface,” “East Los High” executive producer Mauricio Mota said at the Atx Television Festival Saturday.

It’s been more than eight months since the wave of allegations came out against Harvey Weinstein, et al., and Mota noted one change is that some people are more careful about expressing themselves.

Meghan Markle Was in 'Horrible Bosses,' and You Totally Missed it

She's a royal bride now, but it wasn't long ago that Meghan Markle was "just a FedEx girl" in Horrible Bosses. Other media outlets bill her appearance in the 2011 big-screen comedy as a "cameo," but it was more like a bit part — since Meghan wasn't the superstar she is today. In fact, Meghan's part lasts only 30 seconds. Her character, Jamie — whose name we only know from IMDb — is a FedEx employee who interacts with Kurt, Jason Sudeikis's character. "What's going on here?" Kurt says when he sees her dropping off packages. "Is this one of those hidden camera shows? … I mean, you're way too cute to just be a FedEx girl. You've got to be a model or actress, right? Like, what happens when I open one of these boxes? Something going to jump out and bite me in the penis?" "No," Jamie says. "Nothing's going to jump out.

Soap fans might have thought Roger Taylor looked familiar in recent episodes of Days Of Our Lives, and that’s because he was played by John Enos! The actor, best known to daytime viewers as Bobby Marsino on The Young & The Restless was orignally tapped for the role of the Elvis impersonator as part of the mystery surrounding the return of Will Horton to the soap. “So much fun with Alison Sweeney (Sami) and Deidre Hall (Marlena),” the actor tweeted. Enos might also be familiar from his primetime roles. In the mid-‘90s, he played Bobby Parezi on Melrose Place, and could be seen in guest appearances on series like Sex And The City, NYPD Blue, CSI: NY and Gotham. The actor has also appeared on the silver screen in films like Death Becomes Her, Demolition Man, The Rock, and Blade. But soap fans remember him as strip club owner Bobby Marsino on Y&R,

Deadline reports that actress/writer Melina Kanakaredes (“The Resident”) is co-writing and producing an indie feature about the near-death studies and palliative care trailblazer. The project is inspired by Kübler-Ross’ “The Wheel of Life: A Memoir Of Living and Dying.”

Born in Switzerland in 1926, Kübler-Ross revolutionized the way people think about bereavement and loss with the five stages of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Her books — which include “On Children & Death” and “The Tunnel and the Light,” alongside “On Death and Dying” — have been translated into 36 languages and sold more than 10 million copies around the world. Kübler-Ross died in 2004.

Kanakaredes acquired the rights to “The Wheel of Life” and Kübler-Ross’ life rights for the as-yet untitled film,
