This is the second movie I saw from Andrew Copp. Again it's weird, but better then Atrocity Circle. When the film is over you still will ask yourself what you just watched. Therefor Andrew has put a commentary track on it so you can clear things out. There are a lot of compilations in it made from operations and other cruel stuff. A pity that as the other film the sound is terrible. Sometimes you have to pump up the volume to understand the conversations. The score is too loud against voices. Anyway, the score itself reminded me of the experimental sounds of Psychic TV and Throbbing Gristle, do I need to say more. On the net Andrew appears as a rough guy but you can watch him on the special edition, the one I got from him, he's just one of the guys. Included is a short movie called, American Gulag. It's about Robert "Budd" Dwyer who was an American politician who, on the morning of January 22, 1987, committed suicide by shooting himself in the mouth with a revolver during a televised press conference. It was on live television, the footage is included in this short movie. Again, you can only obtain this DVD by contacting Andrew. This one is worth a go.
