This is supposed to be the sequel of Lastikman (2003), which topped the 2003 Metro Manila Film Festival. Unfortunately, the movie producers didn't pursue the plan after the heirs of Lastikam creator Mars Ravelo demanded 1.8 million pesos (around US$32,727 that time) for the sequel. In Lastikman (2003), the heirs only demanded 130,000 pesos (US$2,363) but Vic Sotto gave 500,000 pesos (US$9,090).
