In an October interview, Kelsey Grammer told Piers Morgan that his final "parting gift" to his ex-wife Camille was helping to get her cast on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills." Wednesday on "The Wendy Williams Show" (weekdays on Fox) Camille presented a different interpretation of Kelsey's behind-the-scenes string-pulling. "It was to keep me preoccupied in L.A. so he could have his affair in New York," she said, while noting that Kelsey talked to a "Housewives" producer in December, and she wasn't cast until February.
Williams then flashed back to some '90s footage that showed Camille shaking her stuff as a dancer on "Club MTV," and complimented the reality stars on her moves, new boyfriend, and the breadth of her life experiences. "I've had a good life ... I feel like I've lived many lives in one lifetime," Grammer reflected.

On tonight’s So You Think You Can Dance Top 10 results show, Nigel Lythgoe pulled a shocker by performing a routine called “Dance of the Softies: Marshmallow Man.” Yes, folks, after Cat Deeley did her worst and announced this week’s Bottom 4 contestants, our head judge and executive producer took things in a surprisingly kind and gentle direction, telling the four at-risk dancers that he didn’t have anything bad to say about them, and didn’t have any advice for them about how to improve their performance or technique. “I’m sorry two of you are going home. That...

“Plenty of Baggage” was the right title for this episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, because the ladies made sure to pack plenty of drama in those designer suitcases of theirs as they headed to Las Vegas to see Jay-z in concert. That in itself is a laugh out loud moment.
Camille
Tonight was one of those examples where I think Bravo’s editing department gets a little ahead of themselves. Every segment with Camille tonight had her dropping Kelsey’s name so much that I started to count, but lost interest quick. While I am firmly on the fence about the effects of editing in reality TV, this is one of those cases where I think the editors are setting up Camille and Kelsey’s divorce way too early in the season. You can’t help but feel the the tug of the rug as it is...

They're not holding oranges or apples or any other fruit that has become the symbol of the other "Real Housewives" series. In "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" premiering Thursday, Oct. 14 on Bravo, the new ladies are holding diamonds, people!
But let's not get bedazzled by the shiny things in their hands. While these women definitely make some of the other franchises look positively middle class, money don't make you a successful reality star.
So, after viewing the premiere episode, we've factored in the women's apparent monetary worth with our first impressions of their personality, then ranked them according to our soon-to-be-patented and totally subjective diamond points system.
Here's how they rank:
6 DiamondsAdrienne Maloof is one tough sister. In the premiere, you'll see her stand up to her husband, show off her fighting skills and help run a family empire that includes the Palms Casino in Las Vegas and the Sacramento Kings.

After last week’s juicy blowout, during which Gretchen committed unintentional hari kari in front of the judges and saw her ego get chopped into tattered little swatches by Tim Gunn, we were all waiting with bated breath to see how the aftermath would play out. Would the designers realize they’d been mere pawns in Gretchen’s scheme to rule the world with an iron seam ripper? Would Ivy stop playing flying monkey to Gretchen’s Wicked Witch of the West? Would Michael C. finally rid himself of the flashing neon Pariah sign hanging on his forehead?

Damn, Bravo gave us the one two punch with Housewives related news this week. First we got the bitchfest known as the Real Housewives of New Jersey Reunion (commentary here), and now we have the “official” Bravo announcement of the premiere date date for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the sixth installment of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise. Mazel, Bravo, for keeping us on our toes!
The new cast, which was basically confirmed a while back from various news sources, is the first to include six women from the start and each of the women have socialite notoriety before getting their Housewives status, so this should make for great TV as their personalities collide. Let’s see who Bravo has picked to represent the glamorous world of Beverly Hills?
Camille Grammer
• What Bravo Says… – Was married to Kelsey Grammer for 13 years (kids Jude and Mason came from that union) and co-owner of Grammnet Inc.

One of the just announced stars from "The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills" didn't initially want to appear on the Bravo series - and it took some convincing from her soon-to-be-ex husband.
"The truth is I didn't want to do the show," "Real Housewives" star Camille Grammer recently told Access Hollywood's Shaun Robinson when she sat down for an exclusive interview with the ladies of the real 90210.
"Kelsey wanted me to do the show," the reality star and former "Club MTV" dancer, who filed for divorce from the actor in July, continued. "When we were together, he ...

So this is where "Dancing With the Stars" Top 5 contestant Erin Andrews got her start!
Actually, Erin Andrews got her start dancing much earlier. She was a Dazzler, the Florida Gators basketball dance squad, from 1997-2000. But before she was Espn's sideline princess, Erin got her groove on to Darrin's Dance Grooves.
Darrin Henson was a dancer on "Club MTV" and went on to choreograph videos for Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, *NSync, Usher, Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez. He put out this instructional video in 2001 (we actually remember this) and "Dancing With the Stars" own Erin Andrews was one of the people featured. Hilarious!
Dancing talent must run in the Andrews family, as Erin's sister Kendra was recently a dancer in the 2010 Academy Awards broadcast.

Longtime MTV "Remote Control" host Ken Ober has passed away at the age of 52, the comedian's representative confirmed to MTV News. The cause of his death was not available at press time.
Ober's career began in the mid-1980s with a turn on the talent competition "Star Search" and in more recent years segued into behind-the-scenes production positions on comedy shows like "Mind of Mencia" and "The New Adventures of Old Christine."
Starting in 1987, Ober hosted five seasons of "Remote Control," which, along with "Club MTV" and "The Week In Rock," was MTV's first foray into series television. A quiz show that tested contestants' pop-culture knowledge, the set bore a strong resemblance to a suburban home's basement. Standing behind a makeshift lectern and next to a giant television screen that helped guide the show,...
