Zach Galifianakis’ ‘Between Two Ferns’ Returns With Jerry Seinfeld, Cardi B (Video)
Zach Galifianakis is back with a new episode of Funny or Die’s “Between Two Ferns,” featuring guests Jerry Seinfeld and Cardi B.

The last time we saw an episode of “Between Two Ferns,” Galifianakis sat down with Hillary Clinton in September 2016.

As is common with episodes of “Between Two Ferns,” this installment is extremely uncomfortable as Galifianakis grills Seinfeld on “lazy car-based non-comedy” in regards to his show “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” as well as his movie “Bee Movie” which Galifianakis says should’ve been called “D-Minus Movie.”

Halfway through the episode, Galifianakis welcomes another, “better” guest, Cardi B, and the tone of the episode shifts completely — much to Seinfeld’s awareness. Moreover, Seinfeld is forced to sit on a crate outside of the ferns.

Galifianakis gives the pregnant Cardi B a gift,

Watch: Zach Galifianakis Resurrects ‘Between Two Ferns’ with Jerry Seinfeld and Cardi B

It’s been two years since Zach Galifianakis dropped a new episode of the Funny or Die bit Between Two Ferns, but he’s back with two wildly different guests. Funny or Die released the episode today, which features Jerry Seinfeld getting berated about everything from Seinfeld to Bee Movie before Galifianakis pushes Seinfeld aside for a better guest, Cardi B. It’s a delightful affair, and Seinfeld gets in a few digs of his own about the legacy of The Hangover franchise. Between Two Ferns originated as a short film on a scrapped pilot from Scott Aukerman and B.…

Someone watched Bee Movie 357 times on Netflix in 2017

Kirsten Howard Dec 11, 2017

Shout out to the UK subscriber who watched Bee Movie 357 times this year. Your dedication has been duly noted by Netflix...

Bee Movie, the 2007 animated meme generator, has a very committed UK fan. Someone so enamoured by the adventures of Barry B. Benson, that in 2017 they were willing to spend 32,487 minutes of their time rewatching the film on Netflix.

Netflix, for their part, did not want this devotion to go unsung, so this week they specifically acknowledged the bee-witched viewer and created a little buzz (I'm sorry) surrounding the, er, achievement, by including the factoid in their 2017 'Year In Review'.

The Jerry Seinfeld-starring flick could have been consumed once a day, or for almost 24 days continuously. No one knows, as the streaming giant are naturally keeping the person's identity anonymous, and further details under wraps.

Oh, and Netflix also released a bunch of Top 10 lists, but

Happy 10th anniversary to Bee Movie, which is somehow still a thing

It’s been 10 years since Bee Movie—a movie most notable for how Jerry Seinfeld wouldn’t shut the fuck up about it—flew into theaters and stung us with its lack of memorable jokes and characters. It should’ve ended there, but some wiseass had to cut it “20000x faster” and inspire an endless litany of memes that include …

Beautiful, inspirational mural confuses David Spade for Kurt Cobain

In the race-to-the-bottom rhetoric of much internet humor, you don’t need a setup or a punchline, you just need a meme, the easier and dumber the better. Rickrolls and “All-Star” and Bee Movie are their own fully structured jokes, and the less funny their context, the better. They are designed to be infuriating.

’30 Rock’: The 25 Episodes You Need to Watch Before Tina Fey’s Iconic Comedy Leaves Netflix
Picking favorites when it comes to “30 Rock” is an awful proposition because the whole series, barring a handful of exceptions, remains an extremely watchable and fascinating comedic journey. But with the show leaving Netflix at the beginning of October (and thus becoming completely unstreamable), we find ourselves in the unfortunate position of having to choose favorites.

Twenty-five episodes equates to less than 10 hours, so you should be able to make the time before September 30. And the adventures of Liz Lemon, Tracy Jordan, Jenna Maroney, Jack Donaghy, and beyond are worth it.

“Tracy Does Conan

Season 1, Episode 7

The first season of “30 Rock” was a bit rocky, but “Tracy Does Conan” does a few important things: It introduces Dr. Leo Spaceman (Chris Parnell), casts Conan O’Brien as himself, and features Aubrey Plaza as an NBC page (a job she actually held in real life). More importantly, it features a breathless sense of anarchy,

Hugh Jackman Says Jerry Seinfeld Convinced Him to Stop Playing Wolverine

While Hugh Jackman was wrestling with the decision of whether to continue playing Wolverine for awhile, he says it was comedian Jerry Seinfeld who convinced him to hang it up after Logan! The actor recalls talking to Seinfeld two years ago about why he decided to end Seinfeld after so many seasons on top, and said Seinfeld responded with the following:

"Look, when you're creating something it's very important not to run yourself dry. It's not about finishing on top necessarily, but making sure you creatively got something left, which propels you into whatever is next. "

Weirdly enough, we covered this story two years ago when he told that same story on Michael and Kelly, and the story has changed in the two years he's been telling it! For example, Jackman says in the first interview that finishing on top is important, but then says it's not important in his telling to Fallon.

Beyonce and Hillary Clinton Inspire the Best #OscarsFail Memes

Among them: Beyonce for “Lemonade,” “Bee Movie” for Best Picture, and Hillary Clinton for President. Price Waterhouse Cooper, the acccounting firm that tabulates the Oscar results, issued a statement late last night apologizing for the massive error on live national television that saw film icons Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway read.

Great Job, Internet!: Idea Channel explains Bee Movie memes via exasperating Bee Movie meme

Clear a path, people, because there’s a new meme in town. The Verge calls them “technical memes,” while Know Your Meme dubs the new phenomenon a “word replacement remix.” Basically, you take a piece of existing art (Bee Movie, for example), then alter it somehow based off a particular word or trigger. There’s YouTube user Avoid At All Costs’ “The entire bee movie but every time they say bee it gets faster,” which is self-explanatory. There’s also That One Ghost Named Asdfghjkl’s “The Bee Movie But Without Bees,” which is also self-explanatory. Now, Idea Channel has given us the epitome of all Bee Movie memes with “The Bee Movie But Every Time They Say Bee We Explain The Deal With Bee Movie,” which is self-explanatory both in name and conception.

In it, host Mike Rugnetta alternates between a practical explanation of how to create your own

Video Essay Explores the Weirdness of Bee Movie Memes and Why Certain Source Material Becomes Meme-ified

Since I spend most of my time writing about movies and television, I don't have a ton of time to keep up with meme culture. But apparently there's been an influx of memes involving Bee Movie recently (actually, this might have been going on for years, as far as I know), and PBS Idea Channel is here to explain why that particular movie has become a go-to film for meme-ificiation. And why do people consistently use "Smash Mouth" or "Smooth" in ridiculous meme videos these days? This video tries to get to the bottom of that, too. I found the results to be enlightening, and in a nice twist, this video itself has become an entry in the bizarre Bee Movie meme subculture because it's the entire movie, but every time the word "bee" is said, the video essay plays in its entirety. Luckily for those of us who only
