Alexandra Maria Lara,

This is one of the rare examples of a German romantic thriller comedy. And in general it works very well. Its predominant tone is comedic and it is really funny, esp. because the author, Martin Rauhaus, wrote lots of witty dialogue and good humorous characters. It has a tight though foreseeable thriller plot. In the action scenes director Mark Schlichter proves once again his strong sense of timing, pacing and creative visualization. And it has also fine romantic scenes which work very well because the two lead actors, Alexandra Maria Lara and Wotan Wilke Moehring, get on very well with each other. I just would have loved to see more romance in the plot and to watch more of them as a couple of a romantic comedy made for each other and prevented to come together by the villains of the thriller plot.
