- Quotes
Ari Gold: Lloyd, do you have Vince?
Lloyd: No, I have Drama, and he says he's been authorized to tell you that Vince will not speak to you until he, Drama, has a job.
Ari Gold: Really?
Lloyd: Really.
Ari Gold: Really?
[storms out of his office and into a conference]
Ari Gold: People. staff meeting has been canceled. You all have one goal today, to get Vincent Chase's brother, Johnny Chase, a job. Any job. I don't care if it's a porn shoot in which he is being gang-raped by a gaggle of silverbacked apes; if there are cameras rolling, everybody wins. Ten grand to anyone who can deliver this to me, TODAY.

The character development is incredibly satisfying to watch. For example, Vinny Chase spends most of season 1 with a smile and a lazy superstar attitude. But the character begins to evolve as the series continues and he really grows on you. Let's not forget E (perhaps the real lead character who lives in Vinnie's shadow) who plays Vincent's best friend and manager, as well as Turtle and Johnny Drama. The loyalty and brotherhood between the four central friends is heartwarming, endearing and admirable.
So many other characters are fun to watch, including Lloyd, Billy Walsh and Shauna. But the powerhouse talent agent character, Ari Gold, immortalized by the brilliant Jeremy Piven, hands down steals the spotlight from the supporting cast members time and time again, earning him a Primetime Emmy win 3 years in a row.
A real treasure from beginning to end, I'm now rewatching the entire series...and can see myself rewatching it again in the near future.
