The efforts of three children, who live in high rise flats, to save a donkey from two small-time crooks who want to sell it as horsemeat, by providing a temporary stable for the donkey in the block of high-rise flats.
Fab kid's film The Donkey In The Lift Is Great Fun
Went to see back when it was released in 1980 at the local cinema back in London and the star of the film was there and he had his handbag with him
is it on DVD ?
I dunno how todays kids would cope with it as it's very much a period film of the time , very CFC ( Children's Film Foundation ) and all speak rather posh even though it's suppose to be a council estate in London somewhere !!!
a fun film to watch with your elderly Granny
