Storyline

Cooper and Ed are brothers: Coop acts, in ads and soaps, spending his real energy chasing women for one-night stands. His younger brother Ed, an earnest young man, works in an ad agency. For the past year, since finding his girlfriend in bed with another man with a video camera running, Ed has been in a funk: he's carried a torch, his social life has tanked, and his work has suffered. Ed will be fired on Monday unless he can save a major account. It's his birthday weekend: he wants to work, but Cooper wants Ed to rediscover his sex life. Cooper works hard to help Ed score, but disaster piles on disaster. Can a decent guy save his job and get a life? Written by <jhailey@hotmail.com>

The Review From The Guy That Like This Genre of Movie
4 November 2006 | by Mr_SensitiveSee all my reviews

I didn't expect anything much from this movie but the trailer look pretty good and I love this kind of genre of movie, all that leads me to watch it. And despite I do get some laugh I did quite enjoy it as much as I could.

Brief: Ed the lonely man was dump a year earlier and never was able to get over it; and now his boss gives him an ultimatum - if he could not come up with brilliant ad campaign his ass is history. He was given the time of two day to do so unfortunately his brother have other agenda for him this weekend, to get Ed to finally get laid and move on.

Okay, I didn't find the film to be terrible or anything but I wish they should have polish the script a little more and add something new to the movie of this type. The story is same old as one would have known. The good thing about the movie is real life footages, which help the movie in great way with originality and humor.

The casting of the movie seem to be the best part of the movie with Brendan Fehr as little loser kind of brother and Chris Klein as a womanizer elder brother, both of them give a fairly good acting but it seem Chris might have gone over board with his enthusiasm. And the women in the movie aren't that bad looking.

Advise: If you do not like toilet humor, I wouldn't advise you to see it. And if you do, you probably know that these movies mostly involve sex and nothing else, therefore I will not talk about how were the directing, lighting, and cinematography etc. Just tried to relax and enjoy the movie lightly.

Reason To Watch: Series of Real Life Footage, Brendan Make Pretty Convincing Loser.

Reason Not To: Not As Funny As It Suppose To Be, The Story Ain't That Good.

Recommendation: Yes, But Only Worth Enough For If It On Cable Itself.

Rating: 5.5/10 (Grade: D+).

Rate Y/N After Read.
