Storyline

Part 'The Wizard of Oz', part 'Eyes Wide Shut', EXPIRATION stares straight into the dreams and nightmares of childhood, leading both character and audience deep into the heart of an unflinching urban fairy tale. Set amidst the chaotic, yet seemingly predestined events of a fall Montreal night, this coming of age odyssey from newcomer Gavin Heffernan follows three lost characters through a circus of tests, trials and colorful figures. As their futures materialize, realization dawns that every step of their journey has been leading to a single moment, high above the city... Written by WB

Really nice surprise
15 May 2004 | by See all my reviews

I was astounded on how professional this movie was made with the budget it had. I wish Gavin the best of luck in the future. I really enjoyed the plot and dialogue, and hope to see more from him in the future. The dialogue sounded real, not forced. The scenes were laid out very well. The plot was easy to follow. The movie plot looked believable. It is amazing that the film was done by a college student with a lot of volunteers! Gavin, do yourself a favor. Get the Independent Film Channel (IFCTV.com) to air this. That should get the exposure you are looking for.
