Storyline

Somewhere in the deep vastness of space, within the Andromeda Galaxy lies the Algol Star System floating like a dust fleck in a sunbeam. Around the parent star, Algol, whirl its three children: Palm, Mota, and Dezo. Closest to Algo is Palm, the economic and intellectual stronghold of the system. Of the three planets the middle gleamed the brightest like an emerald. This is Mota, a beautiful, beckoning jewel gripped by madness! Written by Anthony Pereyra <hypersonic91@yahoo.com>

Classic Sci-Fi Adventure
6 March 2005 | by See all my reviews

The planet Mota's Biosystems Laboratory, responsible for producing creatures suitable to live on Mota, is malfunctioning. You, Rolf, an agent of the local government are sent to investigate what has gone wrong, and find out why the governing computer, Mother Brain, has not addressed this problem.

Though perhaps it could use a bit more articulation in describing the plot, Fantasy Star II features a story darker than any other Role Playing Game of its era. Though the leveling may become somewhat tedious, the story more than makes up for it. Before your adventure is finished, you'll travel the world on a jet scooter, open dams, and visit a planet of ice, where speaking the natives' language becomes a problem.

Just what is happening on Mota? Only you can find out.
