This is a wonderful show with two great actresses. The show is clean, no guts and gore, and the scenery is spectacular. Not all episodes take place just in the UK. Some episodes are shot in Spain and Italy with equally spectacular scenery. I would recommend watching the first episode to start, simply to establish the relationship between the two women and to learn their backgrounds. In each episode you can learn a little about gardening, have a laugh, and enjoy a decent mystery. If you are a fan of British mysteries and want to try something without the swearing, violence, and sex that you find in other TV shows, I would strongly recommend Rosemary & Thyme. I wish they would make more, I would buy them in a heartbeat.
