A.J.: Allow me to grab my bulletin. Seatbelts.

The Only Way Out is Up
25 May 2007 | by moviewizguySee all my reviews

A group of air crash survivors are stranded in the Mongolian desert with no chance of rescue. Facing a brutal environment, dwindling resources, and an attack by desert smugglers, they realize their only hope is doing the impossible...building a new plane from the wreckage of the old one.

This film is good and bad. Most of the dialog is horrid and characters do stupid things making the body count go higher. However, the scenes where characters are killed off are actually tense and suspenseful. Who would know a film so bad with the characters have some really good scenes?

I really didn't like the witty dialog to make the movie humorous. I really didn't like the stupid characters doing stupid things and we don't even care about them. But I do like the action scenes. There are so many situations in the film that makes the film tense and suspenseful.

The acting by most of the cast are so-so to bad, although I liked Miranda Otto's performance. The special effects from the scene where the plane falls is fantastic!

If you have seen the original, don't bother seeing this one because it's the same movie. For those who didn't, you can watch this but note the bad dialog and stupid characters. Watch this film with your brain turned off.
