Storyline

Gary Andrews is a ruthless lawyer who has devoted himself to winning the Rat Race of life. As it turns, he has been so successful at it that one night, he mysteriously changed into a humanoid rat for real. Now, Gary must struggle to live with this bizarre condition even while he resists the suggestion that changing his ways may be the only way to change back. Unknown to Gary however, one of his neighboring tenants has hired an insane exterminator, Johnny Horatio Bugz, to kill him although Bugz has far more determination than competence. Trivia

In episode four, "Manrattan", a man calles Gary "Mickey". Crazy Credits

There is a slight dialogue change after the first eight eps and the show was moved to an earlier time, Originally, Gary first sees himself as a rat in his mirror and screams in horror, then mutters under his breath, "Gary the Rat. Shit." This line is changed when the word 'shit' is replaced by a rather hurriedly said "This just sucks". This dialogue may have been taken from the episode where Gary is trying to find a date for a business party. See more »

Gary the!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am really serious. They should put this show on DVD. I mean this was an excellent cartoon when it was on Spike. I loved it. I loved all the cases or positions Gary was assigned to in every episodes. Kelsey Grammar was perfect for Gary Andrews. There were also some funny moments in every episode. One, for instance, was Gary's dream, and Bugz trying to kill him but ends up killing someone else. I think SPIKE TV should have kept it on much longer. All the episodes on this series, I think, were well done: acting, writing, heck everything. And all the supporting cast members and special guest stars of this series were great too. A must have on DVD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
